What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for our faith, doctrine, and daily living.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and promised return.

John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11

We believe that all people have sinned and need salvation. Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, we can receive forgiveness of sins, be born again, and have eternal life.

We believe that water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to Christ, symbolising the believer's identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus Christ, empowering believers to live as His witnesses and serve Him effectively. We believe that the gifts and work of the Holy Spirit continue in the Church today.

We believe in the present-day operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including prophecy, healing, miracles, discernment, and speaking in tongues, according to the teaching of Scripture and for the building up of the Church.

We believe that every believer is called to live a holy life, growing in Christlikeness through the work of the Holy Spirit. Our lives should reflect God's character through love, obedience, humility, and integrity.

1 Peter 1:15–16; Galatians 5:22–25; Romans 12:1–2

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, serve others, and encourage believers to grow together in faith and love.

We believe in the importance of prayer, heartfelt worship, fellowship, and the observance of the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us.

We believe that God is our healer and that we may pray in faith for healing and restoration through the power and mercy of God.

Isaiah 53:4–5; James 5:14–16

We believe in the personal and glorious return of Jesus Christ. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the fulfilment of God's eternal purposes.

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, eternal life with God for those who are saved through Jesus Christ, and eternal separation from God for those who reject His salvation.
